چکیده
Chloroacetamides are commonly used in herbicide formulations, and their occurrence has been reported soils groundwater. However, how chemical structures affect transformation kinetics pathways the presence of environmental reagents such as hydrogen sulfide species black carbon not investigated. In this work, we assessed impact increasing Cl substituents on reaction six chloroacetamides. The contribution individual (reductive dechlorination vs. nucleophilic substitution) to overall decay selected chloroacetamides was differentiated using various experimental setups; both rates product distributions were characterized. Our results suggest that number affected kinetics: trichloroacetamides predominantly underwent reductive whereas mono- dichloroacetamides transformed via substitution. Furthermore, synthesized eight dichloroacetamide analogs (Cl2CHC(=O)NRR’) with differing R groups characterized kinetics. Dynamic NMR spectroscopy employed quantify rotational energy barriers dichloroacetamides. adsorption constrained from approaching dichloromethyl subsequently favored attack. This study provides new insights better predict fate subsurface environments by linking structural characteristics pathways.

Reactivity of a rhenium hydroxo-carbonyl complex toward carbon disulfide: insights from theory.
The reaction mechanism on the formation of the hydrosulfido complex [Re(SH)(CO)(3)(bipy)] via the reaction of [Re(OH)(CO)(3)(bipy)] with carbon disulfide was theoretically investigated at the B3LYP/6-31+G(d,p) (LANL2DZ+f for Re) level of theory taking into account bulk solvent effects by using the PCM-UAHF continuum model. The energetics of the process was also analyzed by means of single-point...

(19)F labelled tripodal ligands that possess a N(3)O donor set (one phenol, one tertiary amine and either two pyridines or one pyridine and one quinoline) have been synthesized. The fluorine is incorporated either at the phenol O-donor (HL(F) and HL(CF3)) or at the quinoline N-donor (HLq(OMe) and HLq(NO2)). The copper(ii)-phenol complexes (2H)(2+), (1H)(2+), (3H)(2+) and (4H)(2+) as well as the...

Phase modulated pulses for deuterium recoupling in (2)H-(13)C REDOR NMR spectroscopy have been introduced to improve dephasing of the detected (13)C nuclei. The deuterium inversion properties of phase modulated recoupling pulses have been studied experimentally on l-alanine-2-d(1) and theoretically using average Hamiltonian theory and exact simulations of the equation of motion of the density m...
متن کاملJust a Flexible Linker? The Structural and Dynamic Properties of CBP-ID4 Revealed by NMR Spectroscopy.
Here, we present a structural and dynamic description of CBP-ID4 at atomic resolution. ID4 is the fourth intrinsically disordered linker of CREB-binding protein (CBP). In spite of the largely disordered nature of CBP-ID4, NMR chemical shifts and relaxation measurements show a significant degree of α-helix sampling in the protein regions encompassing residues 2-25 and 101-128 (1852-1875 and 1951...
متن کاملStructural Analysis of Human Cofilin 2/Filamentous Actin Assemblies: Atomic-Resolution Insights from Magic Angle Spinning NMR Spectroscopy
Cellular actin dynamics is an essential element of numerous cellular processes, such as cell motility, cell division and endocytosis. Actin's involvement in these processes is mediated by many actin-binding proteins, among which the cofilin family plays unique and essential role in accelerating actin treadmilling in filamentous actin (F-actin) in a nucleotide-state dependent manner. Cofilin pre...
